when you use the Playmo mobile app and website, how we use that information,
and the choices you have. By using Playmo you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your
email address, a username, and your password (stored hashed, never in
plain text).
Content you create. Games you log, ratings, reviews,
lists, comments, follows, and other content you share in the app.
Usage data. Basic technical information such as the
time of in-app actions, your device type and IP address. We use this to
run the service, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
How we use your information
To provide and operate the Playmo service.
To show your activity to people you follow and to people who follow you.
To improve the app, fix issues, and prevent abuse.
To contact you about important account or service changes.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not show third-party advertising in the app.
We do not share your private content with anyone outside the people you choose to share it with in the app.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can
delete your account at any time from inside the app, which removes your
profile, reviews, lists, and game logs from the service. Some technical
logs may be retained for a short period for security purposes.
Children
Playmo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has
provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will
delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll
update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
